What is Catalog Manager ?

Catalog manager helps you to update the catalog in parts, you don’t have to update the product or category manually. It also helps you to check the current details, id’s used, or if you want to update/delete anything. Catalog Manager makes your way easier towards the data. All the data comes separately as per our need, sheet exports/imports within seconds as these are CSV files.

Steps – Go to the left-hand side navigation bar and go to Catalog. From the drop-down select Catalog Manager.

Options provided on Catalog Manager

  1. Product Categories
  2. Product Images
  3. Product Option Values
  4. Magento ID Mapper (Not used)
  5. Option List
  6. Product Id for Attribute Delete
  7. Product Attributes
  8. Product Filters
  9. Global Filters
  10. Related Products

Product Categories

Click on the Export type drop-down and select product categories. With the help of product categories CSV sheet you can update the categories in bulk for a product.

Steps

  • Column A is for kartify product id
  • Column B is for categories id’s in which the product will fall & use | separator for adding new id’s.
  • Column C is for store id which will remain constant & non-changeable.
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Product Images

Click on the Export type drop-down and select product images to updates all the secondary images. The first image can be updated via the product sheet in the Catalog > Products option. With the help of product images CSV sheet, you can update the images in bulk for a product.

Steps –

  • Column A is for image id will be assigned automatically. If added new image then keep the column blank.
  • Column B is for kartify product id for which you are changing/adding the images.
  • Column C is for image links already preuploaded on the S3 panel.
  • Column D is for Sort order (it will define the images which will come 1/2nd/3rd etc)
  • Column E is for store id which will remain constant & non-changeable.
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Product Option Values

Click on the Export type drop-down and select the product option values. With the help of the product option values CSV sheet, you can update the options in bulk for a product.

Steps

  • Column A is for kartify product id for which you are changing/adding the options.
  • Column B is for store id which will remain constant & non-changeable.
  • Column C is for option value id which will be assigned automatically by the system. If added new image then keep the column blank.
  • Column D is for option value id (you can check the id’s from the option list sheet)
  • Column E is for option value name (S/M/L etc).
  • Column F is for the EAN/SKU value of the particular option.
  • Column G is the Option value qauntity.
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Option List

Click on the Export type drop-down and select the Option list. With the help of the option List CSV sheet, you can add/update the options in bulk for the whole brand altogether.

Steps

  • Column A is for option id for which you are using with option values sheet. (Not for update)
  • Column B is for the design in which the option will be shown on the website (Example – Checkbox/Radio/Select etc).
  • Column C is for Sort order (it will define the options which will come 1/2nd/3rd etc)
  • Column D is for language id which is always marked 1 (1 is for English) (Not for update)
  • Column E is for option value name (S/M/L etc).
  • Column F is for the option value id (Not for update)
  • Column G is for the images link if available for the values. (Use Cdn links preuploaded on S3)
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Product Id for Attribute Delete

Click on the Export type drop-down and select the Option for Product Id for Attribute Delete. With the help of this option, you can delete the full attribute details all together for a product.

Steps

  • Column A is for kartify product id for which you want to delete the attributes.
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Product Attributes

Click on the Export type drop-down and select the Option for Product for Attribute. With the help of this option, you can update the attribute details all together for a product. Note – This option cannot be used to add new attributes.

Steps

  • Column A is for kartify product id for which you want to edit the attributes.
  • Column B is attribute id (id’s are available on the attribute module)
  • Column C – Add attribute group name .
  • Column D- Add text which was to be shown on the website.
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Product Filters

Click on the Export type drop-down and select the Option for Product for Attribute. With the help of this option, you can update the attribute details all together for a product. Note – This option cannot be used to add new attributes.

Steps

  • Column A is for kartify product id for which you want to edit the Filters.
  • Column B is for filter id (id’s are available on the global filter list). Use | separator to add multiple filter id’s for a product.
  • Column C IS for store id which will remain constant & non-changeable.
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Global Filters

Click on the Export type drop-down and select the Option for Global Filters. With the help of this option, you can check all the current options available in the store and add new ones accordingly.

Steps

  • Column A is for filter id (Non changeable), if adding new filter then keep the column blank.
  • Column B is for filter name. (Text is editable)
  • Column C is for filter group. (Text is editable)
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.

Related Products

Click on the Export type drop-down and select the Option for Related Products. We don’t use this option frequently as we run the related products cron for the mapping. This option helps when brands require custom mapping. This helps to add them in bulk.

Steps

  • Column A is for kartify product id.
  • Column B is for kartify product id’s which are related to each other or you want to add them in the related products slider.
  • Column C is to be kept blank (non-useable)
  • Column D is for store id which will remain constant & non-changeable.
  • Then save the sheet without changing the format & name.

Use the import type drop-down and select the same option & upload the same edited CSV sheet.
